Legal Audit
A legal audit is a systematic review of the legal health of a business or transaction. We examine the documentation that underpins key commercial relationships: contracts with suppliers, customers, landlords, and employees; the constitutional documents of the company; regulatory licences and compliance; pending or threatened disputes; and the legal arrangements that govern intellectual property, data, and other proprietary assets.
The output is a clear, prioritised assessment of where legal risk exists, what the potential exposure is in each area, and what remedial action is recommended. Legal audits are particularly valuable before a transaction, at a change of ownership or management, at a moment of significant business growth, or simply as a periodic health check for a business that has grown faster than its legal documentation has kept pace with.
